Ceremony Outline

Rebecca & Britinni’s Wedding
Date: September 27, 2025
Location: Fern Forest Nature Center — Coconut Creek, FL
Start Time: Guests seated by 2:30 PM | Ceremony to begin shortly after

Processional Order & Roles

Processional (Entrance)

1st – Debi (Mother of the Bride – Seated during ceremony), Kathy (AK – Officiant – Standing during ceremony), and Nana (Grandmother – Seated during ceremony)
All three walk together down the aisle. At the front, Debi and Nana hug, Nana is seated, Debi takes her seat, and Kathy takes her place at the podium to officiate.

2nd – Jenn (Mother of the Bride – Seated during ceremony) and Britinni (Bride – Standing during ceremony)
Jenn walks Britinni down the aisle. At the front, Jenn hugs Britinni then moves to her seat. Britinni remains up front.

3rd – Nash (Ring Security – Seated during ceremony; brings rings to Brit when called) and Carter (Ring Security – Seated during ceremony)
Already seated near the front. Bring rings to Britinni when called during the ceremony, then return to seats.

4th – Nadine (Bridal Party – Standing during ceremony) and Noah (Captain of the Aisle – Standing during ceremony)
Walk down the aisle one after the other (or paired if rehearsed that way) and stand at assigned spots during the ceremony.

5th – Paulino (Bridal Party – Standing during ceremony) and Lauren (Bridal Party – Standing during ceremony)
Walk down the aisle and stand at assigned spots during the ceremony.

6th – Elizabeth Rubel (Maid of Honor – Standing during ceremony) and Trish (Maid of Honor – Standing during ceremony)
Walk down the aisle and stand at assigned spots during the ceremony.

8th – Natalie P. (Flower Girl – Seated during ceremony)
Walk down the aisle handing out flowers and rock hearts to guests seated on the aisle ends. When finished, she sits for the remainder of the ceremony.

9th – Steven R. (Father of the Bride / Co-Officiant – Standing during ceremony) and Rebecca (Bride – Standing during ceremony)
Steven walks Rebecca down the aisle. At the front, Steven hugs Rebecca, hands her off to Britinni, then moves to co-officiant position next to Kathy.

General Instructions for Processional

Timing Between Groups:
Each group should wait until the previous group is about halfway down the aisle before beginning to walk. Use a slow count of five before starting.
Walking Pace:
Walk at a slow, natural pace — graceful but not dragging. This gives photographers time to capture photos and keeps the music on track.
Bouquet Position:
Anyone carrying flowers or bouquets should hold them at belly-button level, arms slightly bent, and tilt the bouquet slightly forward (10–15°) so the blooms show in photos.
Eye Contact:
Smile and look ahead at guests or at the couple up front — not at the floor.
Special Note:
Elizabeth will help by taking Rebecca’s bouquet during the ceremony and placing it on the table.

📢 Officiants’ Note

At the end of the ceremony, Kathy and Steven will announce to guests:

“Please proceed to the cocktail hour upstairs. Noah, the Captain of the Aisle, will be available if you need help finding your seat.”

This ensures everyone knows the next step before the recessional begins.

Recessional (Exit)

When the ceremony concludes and music starts:

1st – Rebecca & Britinni – Walk back down the aisle together first, smiling, waving, stopping for a quick kiss!

2nd – Elizabeth & Trish (Maids of Honor) – Exit next together.

3rd – Paulino & Lauren (Bridal Party) – Exit together.

4th – Nadine & Noah (Bridal Party) – Exit together.

5th – Nash & Carter (“Ring Security”) – Follow after bridal party.

6th – Jenn, Debi & Nana – Walk out together; Debi helps Nana exit.

7th – Natalie – Exit next.

8th – Kathy (AK) & Steven (Officiants) – Leave podium after everyone else and walk out together.
